A Postcard From the Edge of Civilization...

Stephanie and Luis Drayton by Marcel Duchamp. Photo: { Stephanie }.

First off, I just wanna apologise for the lack of posts recently; the reason for this being TalkTalk's complete incompetence in providing us with a new broadband service (BT's old service proving horrendously expensive)... Anyway, things should be sorted out within a couple of weeks at most; in the meantime, however, Luis Droppings comes to you courtesy of Nameless Internet Cafe, Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush. (Steph's managed to set us up at home with a dial-up service for the time being, but it's no damn good for anything other than surfing and sending emails...) Anything to report? Well, the main reason for this post is to let y'all know that on Tuesday, Steph and I celebrated my birthday with a trip to the Tate Modern to see the Duchamp/Picabia/Man Ray exhibition. A beautiful sunny day; and so we followed up our skip round floor four of the Tate with a few drinks in a pub nearby... At the head of this post is a photo Steph took at the Tate exhibition; a photo of a 1913 Duchamp; a mirror with the artist's name inscribed - backwards - at the bottom. Incompetent ISPs? Ha! What fury hold they for an artist of my stature?
